We found these ‘blades’ really easy to attach and in no time at all, we’d programmed in our own text messages and couldn’t wait for dark!
We used 3 RAINBOW lighted versions on each wheel and the effect was stunning. We now use them to promote our business at night to attract attention through our dynamic and creative light shows!
Although these ‘blades’ remain solid when fitted correctly to your spoke cage, we found that they emitted a slight rattle when riding.
We investigated the cause and it turned out that this noise was coming from a slight movement of the batteries in their housing.
Believe it or not, AA batteries come in various sizes (very small variances) based on manufacturers around the world, so we’ve experimented with different ideas to overcome these variances and found that these ideas solved the problem for us:

1.Tighten the batteries in the chamber by adding metal washers between the brass cylinder on the blue battery cap and the metal disk. To do this, simply unscrew the brass part from its base. This will extend the length of the brass part compressing the spring on the positive end of the battery chamber.
This is also recommended for high speed riding and addresses the break in the electrical current due to centrifugal force.

2.Alternatively, run a strip of Sellotape along all three batteries prior to putting them into the battery housing!
